The Prefect Board aims to promote good grooming, behavior and courtesy among the student body. It hopes to guide students in being self-disciplined, and self-responsible, and grow to become mature and graceful young ladies. It is the duty of the Prefect Board to give reminders to schoolmates on how to behave properly in different contexts, and to assist whenever needed. Prefects act as important student leaders, caring for and helping fellow students to become more self-conscious in their grooming and behavior, and to maintain a harmonious school environment.

 

This year, the Prefect Board would continue evaluating the present uniform requirements and behavioural issues within the student body, as well as implementing new measures to solve pressing situations within the school campus. It serves as a bridge of communication between students and the school, in order to ensure students maintain a bright and presentable image, and to create a clean, friendly and welcoming school environment for students to study in. 

 

Furthermore, the Prefect Board would also focus on the training of prefects, in addition to strengthening the bonding between the Prefect Board and the student body. Various training programmes would be provided for prefects to enhance their confidence, communication, problem-solving and leadership skills. Through these, it is hoped that prefects would develop a greater sense of identity towards the Prefect Board, and foster a greater sense of self-respect and maturity, which they would pass on to fellow
